I live on the edge of North Wales just south of Chester with my husband and son. I have been involved in health and fitness all my life but my journey as a triathlete started in 2005. This has taken me from my first sprint race in the early days up to Ironman Italy and onwards to adventure racing to keep it fresh and exciting. I have successfully raced as part of age group Team GB in many different countries around the world.
In my former life I worked in marketing as an Account Manager but took a leap of faith in 2005 and resigned from corporate life. I retrained and started my own personal training business which led me to discovering the crazy sport of triathlon at the end of 2005. I enjoyed the sport so much that I progressed through my coaching qualifications obtaining BTF Level 3 in 2013 and making coaching my full time profession and have been coaching with Total Tri from the early days of its inception.
